Microtrix is recommended only for patients currently using Albutrix. It is not sold separately and should not be used independently. Any vitamin intake — Microtrix included — that exceeds the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) offers no proven benefit and may pose risks for individuals with kidney disease. Excess intake of B vitamins has been associated with the progression of kidney disease, while high calcium intake has been linked to accelerated cardiovascular disease.
